Why a special shoe for the Ladies? Because women's feet are different - DUH! Cut lower at the ankle, and narrower at the heel and midfoot, this shoe is specifically designed for a women's crew.
But wait - That's not all!
This shoe features an antimicrobial finish on the insole to keep the "nasties" down (EWWWW!) and unique materials in the collar and tongue to improve comfort and performance. The steel ring at the heel is replaced with a mesh loop to reduce weight.
And while I wasn't a business major (history actually) I know I can't charge the ladies extra. So you get this awesome shoe for the same price as the standard model.
